Job Summary
A company is looking for a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support for software applications, hardware, and remote technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for telephone and email inquiries
- Provide onsite and remote support to users, including troubleshooting and system imaging
- Update and track IT assets, and document standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least three years of experience in telephone and remote technical support or desk-side support
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and network technologies
- Knowledge of desktop and laptop imaging and deployment
- Familiarity with IT asset management, including software licensing and hardware inventory
