Detection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Detection Engineer to support cybersecurity operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor logs in Google SecOps and Google Cloud Observability
• Manage alert and security use case creation in collaboration with system owners
• Participate in IT projects to address security issues and maintain documentation for security-related systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems administration, information systems, or related areas, or relevant work experience
• 2+ years of IT operations experience with SIEM products and threat detection
• 2+ years of IT infrastructure experience, preferably in a cloud environment
• Experience with Google SecOps and cloud observability tools
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are desired
