Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead their Pay Product software team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and production releases of solutions and workflows for healthcare claims Pay product lines
• Manage and grow a team of developers responsible for backend services and tools
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to align projects with product development strategy

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years managing multiple teams of developers
• 2+ years managing engineering leaders at Principal Engineer and engineering manager levels
• 8+ years of production application development and backend server experience
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Python, Rust, Rails, Java, Go)
