Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure adherence to underwriting procedures and guidelines for various products
• Review new business and referrals, aiming for continuous improvement in effectiveness and efficiency
• Set departmental goals and assist in the budgeting process while resolving escalated issues as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• FLMI or CLU or similar professional designations
• Minimum of 7 years management experience
• Knowledge of insurance processes and products
• Prior experience with mid to large case underwriting cases
