A company is looking for a Document Accessibility and Remediation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Remediate PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat and similar tools to ensure compliance with accessibility standards
- Perform document remediation for web pages and Microsoft Office documents
- Support accessibility accommodation requests and track progress on document remediation activities
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software
- 4-6 years of experience using Adobe Acrobat/Pro and Microsoft Office
- Experience with document remediation tools and assistive technologies
- Knowledge of accessibility standards such as Section 508 and WCAG
- Ability to independently identify and analyze issues related to document accessibility
