Job Summary

A company is looking for an Editorial Director to oversee product development and editing for a creative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and editorial teams to create gift books and products from concept to print-ready files
• Manage staff workload, conduct performance reviews, and train new team members
• Source and direct freelance writers, maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines on projects

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in illustrated publishing, preferably as an Editorial Director
• Proven track record of publishing successful and acclaimed books
• Ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion
• Familiarity with contract negotiation and publishing terms
• Deep knowledge of MS Office programs and Adobe Acrobat Pro
