Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Sign Language Interpreter (1099 Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote sign language interpretation services in an educational setting
• Interpret conversations in real-time between Deaf and hearing students in various settings
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality in all interpreted communications

Required Qualifications

• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Proven experience in sign language interpretation
• Strong understanding of Deaf culture and American Sign Language (ASL)
• Reliable access to high-speed internet and a suitable workspace
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
