A company is looking for an Emergency Support Services Technical Writer (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Creates clear and accurate documentation for emergency preparedness and response plans
- Translates complex emergency management language into accessible content for various audiences
- Develops and maintains emergency management plans and instructional materials
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Minimum two years of experience in emergency management technical writing activities
- Minimum two years of technical writing experience at the local, regional, state, tribal, or federal level
- Documented experience in emergency management planning and interagency coordination
- Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with emergency management agencies is an advantage
