Energy Trader - ERCOT Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Energy Trader - Battery Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize battery energy storage system (BESS) assets in ERCOT and ISONE markets
• Develop virtual and PTP strategies based on market analysis
• Coordinate day-ahead and real-time energy bid submissions and monitor market trends

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, or Engineering preferred)
• Minimum three years of experience in the energy sector
• Experience with the ERCOT power market; ISO-NE experience preferred
• Familiarity with Trading/Scheduling software and proficiency in Excel
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation
