Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Lead to shape the technical direction of programs while managing and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of program scope, schedule, and cost management, articulating delivery requirements to team members
• Provides coaching and development to team members, defining growth goals and fostering a learning culture
• Leads engineering processes, collaborates with stakeholders, and presents ongoing work, future goals, and risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, or related field, with 9+ years of experience (16 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree)
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS and its supporting services
• Advanced experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• Experience with Kubernetes and shell scripting (e.g., Bash, POSIX)
• 2+ years of mentoring and coaching experience in engineering contexts
