Job Summary
A company is looking for a Tier One Technician (Voice NOC) entry level.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network devices and troubleshoot issues related to VOIP and telephony services
- Coordinate with on-site technicians and carriers to resolve service troubles and manage trouble tickets
- Communicate effectively with customers and document all job status updates
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; a college degree in a technical discipline or relevant work experience is preferred
- Knowledge of basic networking technologies, including OSI Model, TCP/IP, and VOIP
- Relevant certifications in networking or telephony are a plus
- Able to work at least one weekend day each week
- Ability to multitask and follow defined processes accurately
