FIPS Certified Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer, FIPS/CC (Mobile Devices).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end validation process for IT products, including assessment, development of security targets, and consultation with engineering teams
• Create and review certification documentation for Common Criteria evaluations and FIPS 140-2/3 accreditation, while managing testing environments and generating technical reports
• Perform vulnerability analysis on product/system designs and develop mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience with Common Criteria evaluations and FIPS 140-3 validation
• Expertise in cryptographic encryption algorithms, key exchange protocols, and security protocols
• Proficiency in vulnerability analysis tools such as Nessus, NMAP, and Wireshark
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Information Science, Information Assurance/Cybersecurity, or equivalent (Master's Degree preferred)
