Firewall Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Firewall Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Triaging and resolving network issues, escalating as necessary
• Documenting projects, support actions, and administrative artifacts
• Supporting a 24x7 operational environment as required

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance
• 6+ years of relevant experience in large network infrastructure support
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco Routers/Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, and F5 Network devices
• Required certifications: Security Certification (CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SCCP) and Cisco (CCNA or CCNP) or Palo Alto certification
