Flight Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Flight Software Engineer to develop software for a NASA program.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test flight software for space-based applications using C/C++
• Implement and optimize software on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), focusing on VxWorks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement embedded development solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience with RTOS, particularly VxWorks, in a flight software context
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
• Experience with hardware-level interfaces and embedded development design
• Knowledge of network programming and communication protocols
