Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes with accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure confidentiality of patient records

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• Minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
• Must possess one of the following certifications: CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P
• Experience coding for all medical and surgical specialties in an academic trauma level 1 facility
• Proficient in using Epic and 3M 360 software
