About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Child Development Center.This position is regular, full time, working 35-40 hours per week. Basic responsibilities include securing and washing food, peeling, mashing or delivering food to the kitchen for cooking; slicing meats, preparing sandwiches and salads; measuring and mixing ingredients. Follows recipes as directed. Cleans, scrubs, wipes or washes service equipment such as work tables or refrigerators. Separates food waste and trash. This is an entry level position and no minimum qualifications are required for this position however experience in food service and food preparation is desired. Applicant must be physically able to lift 40 lbs.EducationSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
