Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner I / Medical Only (Workers' compensation) TEMPORARY.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned medical-only caseload of workers' compensation claims
• Determine compensability of claims and administer benefits according to state law and company guidelines
• Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims issues

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• One (1) year or more related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have a GA or FL Workers' compensation Adjuster's license
• Technical understanding of statutory regulations and medical terminology
• Proficiency in Word and Excel preferred
