GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate GIS Analyst to support their GIS team in the analysis and management of geographic data.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of GIS databases and systems
• Perform spatial analysis and geospatial data processing to support projects
• Create, update, and maintain digital maps and other GIS-related products

Qualifications

• Certification in GIS (e.g., GISP)
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Information Science, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS
• Experience in spatial data analysis and geospatial modeling
• Basic understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL, PostGIS)
