A company is looking for a Grant Accountant to manage government and foundation grants and collaborate with program staff on financial matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor awards and ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls
- Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and assist with budget modifications
- Maintain grant data, assist with audits, and provide financial data for grant proposals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance required
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent education and work experience
- Thorough understanding of government grant accounting guidelines preferred
- Experience working for nonprofit organizations highly desired
