Head of Design

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Design to lead its design organization and drive product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive design strategy aligned with business objectives
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing design team in a fast-paced environment
• Design and implement scalable design systems and ensure quality deliverables

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of design experience with 4+ years in senior design leadership roles
• Strong background in SaaS or fintech products with an understanding of complex user workflows
• Experience building and scaling design teams in startup environments (Series A-C preferred)
• Technical background preferred, ideally with a transition from engineering to design
• Proven track record of developing design talent and elevating team capabilities
