A company is looking for an IBM DB2 Database Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and secure DB2 databases while identifying potential enhancements
• Automate system deployments and ensure high availability of databases and applications
• Perform database maintenance, including backup, restoration, and compliance testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience as an IBM DB2 DBA in software projects or complex health systems
• Previous programming experience using shell script for automation
• Active Security+ certification preferred
• Experience in a federal government agency environment preferred
