Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Incident Response Analyst II.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and resolves security incidents, recommending enhancements to improve security
• Executes enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan and partners with business units for remediation
• Performs post-mortem analysis to identify intrusions and unauthorized activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• 2 - 4 years of related experience or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of tools and techniques used by threat actors and indicators of compromise
• Experience with endpoint protection and enterprise detection & response software
• Preferred certifications include SANS GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) or equivalent
