Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient coding for acute care settings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to coding standards
• Meet client productivity targets while maintaining a coding quality of 95% or greater
• Utilize remote-based connectivity tools and office software for effective communication and data management

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC) certification
• A minimum of two years' recent inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting
• Experience in coding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS diagnosis and procedure codes
• Knowledge of MS DRG Coding Classification Systems
• Technical competency with remote-based connectivity and office software
