A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments through follow-up and appeals resolution processes
- Act as a functional leader or reference source within the organization
- Serve as a communication link between patients, insurance companies, and departmental staff
Required Qualifications
- Two years post high school education or an AA degree preferred
- Related health care or insurance industry experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred
- Minimum two years of patient accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration may substitute for experience
