A company is looking for a Technical Writer to develop user-friendly documentation in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain high-quality end-user documentation, including user manuals and online help content
- Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to gather technical information and convert it into accessible documents
- Manage documentation versions and conduct user interviews to assess usability and improve content
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in an IT or software environment
- Familiarity with utilities industry systems is a plus
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
