Japanese Language Tutor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Summer and Fall 2025 Languages Tutor-Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide at least five hours of tutoring per week in Japanese, both in-person and online
• Assist students with grammar explanations, written work reviews, and oral/listening skills development
• Attend Tutor Meetings and Training Sessions, and communicate with the Tutoring Coordinator and Assistant Director of Administration

Required Qualifications

• Advanced or near-native fluency in Japanese
• Intermediate-to-high proficiency in English
• Excellent organizational skills
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in the target language (preferred)
• Graduate or advanced undergraduate students (preferred)
