Java Developer / SRE

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java Developer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of LIMS enhancements backlog and design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while ensuring applications are reliable and scalable
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and partner with Product Manager and Business Analyst teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working with LIMS platforms (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage)
• 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with backend development
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
