Lead Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Automation Project Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of automation projects, from defining technical requirements to overseeing installation and production transitions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence part design and ensure alignment with automation goals
• Provide technical support for automation troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience in automation equipment development and installation or equivalent education and training
• Complex understanding of processes and manufacturing techniques
• Knowledge of metal welding, including laser and resistance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and personal computers
