Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage its data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure data solutions within the Azure ecosystem
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers
• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake
• Strong background in data warehouse architecture and data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark for data transformation
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and DevOps practices in Azure
