Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineer - Tech Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement data management strategies, ensuring compliance with data security standards
• Develop and optimize end-to-end ELT/ETL pipelines using Google Cloud services
• Forecast and manage data-related costs while overseeing data ingestion and ongoing maintenance

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in large-scale data management and architecture
• Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in big data processing frameworks
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong skills in data modeling, ETL processes, and knowledge of data privacy laws
• Ability to forecast and manage costs associated with data tools and services
