Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex data science projects and develop solutions for customer-facing and internal applications
• Mentor junior and senior data scientists while managing a small team and coordinating project activities
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to enhance existing systems and define development best practices

Required Qualifications

• At least 9 years of experience in data science roles, including 3 years in a senior position
• Strong academic background, preferably a PhD in a technical field, as a substitute for industry experience
• Extensive experience in data science methodologies and programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Comprehensive background in Machine Learning with expertise in areas like NLP or Computer Vision
• Proven experience in developing and deploying ML models in industry settings
