Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (Remote MD, DC, VA).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of applications
• Identify gaps in requirements and develop solutions while managing technical resources and project risks
• Support the Project Manager as the technical lead, estimating project costs and conferring with clients on requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 8 years of experience in software design and development, software testing, and requirements management
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle)
• Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
• Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, C, or Python
