Lead Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer to support telecommunications client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build a scalable Python-based test automation framework for telecom environments
• Lead a small team of engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship
• Translate complex RAN/O-RAN testing scenarios into automated test cases and prioritize automation of 500+ test cases

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development and test automation, with at least 4 years in telecommunications
• Expert-level Python programming skills and experience developing automation frameworks from scratch
• In-depth knowledge of 4G/5G network technologies and O-RAN architecture
• Hands-on experience integrating with telecom test tools (e.g., Keysight, VIAVI)
