Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Secretary to provide secretarial and administrative assistance in a legal office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize legal documents and create new matters using legal software
  • Research and compose responses to inquiries from insureds, claimants, attorneys, and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare Notices of Appearance, schedule hearings and depositions, and maintain attorney files
Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of legal secretarial experience or 1 year as a Legal Secretary Trainee
  • High school diploma required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and legal documentation
  • Ability to work remotely with monthly office attendance for meetings
