Job Summary
A company is looking for a Legal Secretary to provide secretarial and administrative assistance in a legal office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize legal documents and create new matters using legal software
- Research and compose responses to inquiries from insureds, claimants, attorneys, and regulatory agencies
- Prepare Notices of Appearance, schedule hearings and depositions, and maintain attorney files
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of legal secretarial experience or 1 year as a Legal Secretary Trainee
- High school diploma required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and legal documentation
- Ability to work remotely with monthly office attendance for meetings
