Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life Underwriting Manager to oversee underwriting operations and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the operations of an Underwriting unit, ensuring departmental service standards and objectives are met
• Lead complex projects focused on system and process improvements in the Underwriting Department
• Develop and implement customer service standards while addressing technical problems and enhancing field relationships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in people management and training development of underwriters
• Previous life underwriting experience preferred
• A minimum of seven years of operational experience is preferred
• Strong project management skills and a proven track record of obtaining results
