A company is looking for a Life Underwriting Manager to oversee underwriting operations and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the operations of an Underwriting unit, ensuring departmental service standards and objectives are met
- Lead complex projects focused on system and process improvements in the Underwriting Department
- Develop and implement customer service standards while addressing technical problems and enhancing field relationships
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in people management and training development of underwriters
- Previous life underwriting experience preferred
- A minimum of seven years of operational experience is preferred
- Strong project management skills and a proven track record of obtaining results
