Mainframe Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Automation Engineer, National Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate OPSMVS and Netview/SA rules and scripts to replace manual operator commands
• Create system monitoring rules and scripts for monitoring system messages and conditions
• Assist in GDPS software installation and script coding for Disaster Recovery processes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with TSO, ISPF, and SDSF
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with zOS operations commands
• 5+ years of experience with REXX coding and automation rules for zSystems
• 2+ years of experience with GDPS installation and script coding for Disaster Recovery
