Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Systems Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for planning, installation, implementation, and testing of z/OS operating system and components
• Diagnose and resolve z/OS platform system and product issues, conducting root cause analysis
• Generate engineering solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals

Required Qualifications

• Over ten years of experience in Mainframe (z/OS) System Programming
• Expertise in z/OS operating system and its components
• Experience with JES2 concepts, Parallel Sysplex, and Catalog management
• Proven ability to support ISV products and manage project plans effectively
• Experience in coordinating and executing upgrades or changes to system software
