A company is looking for a Manager of Independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage independence matters within the firm's automated conflict/independence system for client acceptance and new projects
- Analyze services and relationships to assess the impact on the firm's independence
- Consult with partners and managers regarding independence and identify potential independence issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in audit independence
- Knowledge of independence rules from SEC, PCAOB, AICPA, DOL, and GAO
- Experience with software systems and project management preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word
