Medicaid Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicaid Billing Representative to manage claims submitted to Medicaid.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on claims that are pending, denied, or incorrectly paid by Medicaid carriers
• Review and address issues causing claims to remain on hold
• Provide necessary information to Medicaid for claim processing and handle correspondence

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Experience in a monitored performance environment is beneficial
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently
