Medical Economics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Economics Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analysis to inform medical cost management strategies
• Develop and monitor metrics and reports related to medical cost performance
• Lead the coordination and consolidation of the HCM Monthly Operating Review

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in health care/managed care with a focus on Financial Planning & Analysis or Medical Cost Management
• Progressive understanding of managed care processes, data, and systems
• Experience collaborating with business partners in analytics and financial analysis
• Solid understanding of P&L management principles and budgeting processes
