Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Counselor, K-12.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling regarding academic planning, course selection, and post-secondary options
• Monitor student academic progress and implement support plans for those experiencing difficulties
• Guide high school students through the college application process and organize virtual college and career events

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field
• Valid Missouri School Counselor license
• Minimum of two years of experience as a school counselor, preferably with K-12 students
• Strong understanding of academic advising and social-emotional learning principles
• Residency in the state of Missouri is required
