Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mortgage Customer Outreach Specialist I to manage delinquent mortgage loans by contacting borrowers in the early stages of default.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with consumers to collect past due mortgage payments while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assess consumers' financial situations and arrange repayment plans as necessary
- Handle inbound calls regarding mortgage loan products and identify potential issues for escalation
Required Qualifications
- A combined 2 years' higher education and/or relevant work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent customer service skills
