MQ Systems Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MQ Systems Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level systems management and support for IBM i MQ environments
• Deploy, configure, and maintain IBM i MQ infrastructure, including performance tuning and optimization
• Troubleshoot complex MQ and system issues independently, providing root cause analysis and resolution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems management, focusing on IBM i MQ environments
• Proven track record of managing enterprise-level MQ systems, including high-availability and disaster recovery
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
• In-depth knowledge of IBM i MQ systems and infrastructure
• Solid understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks
