Mutual Fund Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mutual Fund Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds, producing end-of-day net asset value calculations
• Prepare daily general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and various financial processes
• Collaborate with internal/external administrators and ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in accounting or relevant experience; Bachelor's preferred
• One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
• Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other software packages
