Key Responsibilities
- Manage inquiries, appeals, and balance billing for members, clients, and providers
- Review and negotiate balance bills and appeals with providers
- Document claim resolution events and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma; BA/BS preferred
- Two or more years of experience in a medical healthcare claims role
- Background in healthcare claims management, including provider hospital billing
- State licensure certification may be required
- Negotiation experience is a plus
