Job Summary
A company is looking for a Criticality Safety Engineer to support a Nuclear Criticality Safety Program in a non-reactor nuclear facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate on Nuclear Criticality Safety evaluations
- Conduct independent reviews and lead assessments of Nuclear Criticality Safety operations
- Prepare and present technical reports and conduct training for employees involved in fissionable material operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering, math, or science with 1-2 years of Nuclear Criticality Safety experience, or 7 years of equivalent technical experience
- Experience in Approach to Critical and DOE-specific experience is preferred
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DOE Q security clearance
- Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered
