Online Adjunct Medical Coding Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Faculty for Introduction to Medical Billing and Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor students and facilitate online teaching and learning
• Teach courses related to medical billing and coding, including MCO 180, MCO 201B, MCO 202B, and MCO 203B
• Participate in an online asynchronous assessment as part of the hiring process

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• Coding experience with some billing experience for MCO 180; CPC certification strongly preferred
• CPC certification and coding experience required for MCO 201B, MCO 202B, and MCO 203B
• Experience in the medical field is preferred but not necessary
• Must hold and be worthy to hold a temple recommend
