A company is looking for an On-Post Student Support Specialist to provide personalized assistance to military-affiliated students.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer personalized programmatic information and support during designated office hours on military installations
- Serve as the initial point of contact for students, addressing concerns and directing them to appropriate resources
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and support provided to track progress and identify trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, student affairs, or a related field preferred
- 1+ year of experience supporting military personnel or personal experience as a military spouse
- Experience in academic advising, student support services, or higher education administration
- Familiarity with military education benefits and challenges faced by service members and their families
- Proficiency in online learning platforms and virtual communication tools
