A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Peer to Peer calls with Medical Directors and follow up on past scheduled cases
- Document information from payer calls and enter account status into multiple databases
- Support various departmental functions, including case entry and appeals support
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial/Managed Care is a plus
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to use formulas and manage multiple worksheets
- Accurate keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
