Packaging Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Packaging Engineer to support packaging development and optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and qualify packaging components and systems for new product launches and renovations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets functional, aesthetic, and performance criteria
• Conduct packaging trials, line validations, and performance testing while identifying cost savings and sustainability improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of relevant experience in the CPG industry
• Knowledge of packaging materials and processes
• Experience working with contract manufacturers
• Familiarity with packaging testing standards and regulatory requirements
